Sport Sailing

Sportive sailing on a very fast catamaran,  fast in a little bit of wind (7-9knts), thrill seeking in a good breeze (10-18knts) and absolutely mind boggling screaming along in a punch of wind (19knts plus). Safe?  Yes, we won’t go as fast as when we are racing, will take no risks, the aim of the day is to enjoy.

The catamarans we use are Fireflies, 8.50mtr long, with an all trampoline comfortable  large deck area. We take along maximum 4 guests.
Although the Fireflies are pure bred regatta catamarans, they turn out to be excellent day cruisers. It is like driving a Ferrari. Your grandmother will drive her Ferrari nice and slow, but the grandson will do the opposite. For the experienced sailors it is an eye opener, for the thrill seekers a must do.

An active day of learning how to sail, sportive, hands on, and great fun. At the end of the day you really have achieved something, you are driving the boat, you will get a certificate and can be proud of yourself. The best action day when on holiday in Phuket.

We have a number of Fireflies, so we can even set up a race where you can try to beat your friends!

Safety: we have life vests, vhf radio, medical box, the skippers are all fully licensed and a Firefly is unsinkable.
When we anchor for lunch, there are snorkeling masks on board.

Sailing in crystal clear water, that has a magnificent blue turquoise color is a great experience for young and old, for the novice and experienced sailor. Seen from the water Phuket is suddenly more beautiful, you pass very close by the islands you have seen from far away.

After years of experience we honestly can say, the kids love it, and they really do, specially when you tell them you bought the boat for a day and did not rent it, this big catamaran is now their own, wow, the boys are suddenly assistant captain. Sunset Sailing

When you are in Phuket you obviously  have seen a Sunset,  from your hotel, or from a crowded noisy beach.

Romantic? Yes, very romantic.
To experience the approaching night, seeing the sun disappear behind the horizon of the ocean enjoying the amazing cosmic process painting the sky, all this from a boat, on the sea is something completely different.

Beautiful? Yes, extremely beautiful.
It provides  a very special feeling, earthly matters are gone, you are one with the universe.

We sail up to Promtep Cape, stop under way for some perfect snorkeling and swimming. Cold drinks, wine, beer, soft drinks, water, snacks, fruit and a delicious cold buffet will be served.

The catamaran we use is 11.50mtrs long, the cockpit has a full bimini, and the large foredeck resembles a grand café. The main cabin is well laid out, and the 3 double cabins invite you to have a quick rest.
